Private Duty
Nursing Services
Nursing services are provided to clients based on need and as ordered by their physician to assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic in-home environment. Our in-home nursing services include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Care After Surgery, Injury, Stroke, Cardiac Event
- Medicine Setup
- Venipuncture
- Foot Care
- Foley Catheter Care
- Skin Care
- Wound Care
- Diabetic Care
- Injections
- Home Safety
In Home Personal Care
Personal Care Services are performed by our staff of Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Support Specialists. Upon admission, a Care & Comfort representative, along with the client and family, will develop a Personal Care Plan listing the tasks to be completed at each visit. Plans are routinely reviewed and updated to fit the client’s changing needs. Caregivers assist clients with daily activities such as: Bathing, Personal Care, Assistance With Dressing, Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping Tasks.
In Home Personal Care

Pediatric & Adult
Long-term Care
In-home long-term care pediatric and adult long-term care provides block time services to clients based on their needs. Services are provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and/or Personal Support Specialists. Care & Comfort will provide assessments for clients under the age of twenty-one to determine eligibility for services and/or level of service needed. An assessment will be completed on request (per client, family, doctor, etc.) for clients over the age of twenty-one.
Adult Long-term Care
In-home adult long-term care provides block time services to clients based on their needs. Services are provided by Certified Nursing Assistants, and/or Personal Support Specialists. Care & Comfort will provide assessments for clients under the age of twenty-one to determine eligibility for services and/or the level of service needed. An assessment will be completed on request (per client, family, doctor, etc.) for clients over the age of twenty-one.
Veteran Care
Qualified Veterans can receive following services under our Veteran’s home care program:
- Personal Hygiene like Bathing, Dressing & Grooming, Incontinence Care
- Light Housekeeping
- Meal Preparation
- Caring Companionship
- Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care, Cancer Care, After Surgery Care, Stroke Patient Care, Medication Reminders
- Transportation for Appointments, Running Errands
Veteran Care
Qualified Veterans can receive following services under our Veteran’s home care program:
